RED CARPET

Zondag 24 maart aanstaande is het weer zover. Dan organiseert Horst centrum het 2 jaarlijkse evenement dat heet "de rode loper". De rode loper op de mode zondag houdt in dat er door de hele winkelstraat een rode loper ligt waarover modellen lopen. Deze modellen showen de nieuwste voorjaarscollecties van de mode en schoenenzaken. Ook zijn er andere winkels open zoals bijv. het reisbureau. En ze hebben natuurlijk ook rekening gehouden met de kleinere bezoekers van die dag, waar ook allerlei entertainment voor te vinden is. 

Nu is het zo dat ook wij als kapsalon met deze dag meedoen! Ik doe de samenwerking met Hanneke Janssen van modezaak VROUW in Horst. Het is de bedoeling dat wij het haar en de visagie van de modellen van VROUW verzorgen en dat aangepast op de leuke voorjaars-/ zomerkleding die modellen die dag zullen dragen.  En ik heb er superveel zin in! Ik heb al een heel moodboard gemaakt met allerlei inspiratie voor die dag. Nu moet het alleen nog aangepast worden aan de modellen en de kleuren die ze zullen dragen. 

Hopelijk word het die dag ook net zulk prachtig weer als vorig jaar in het voorjaar met de rode loper, zodat de keding en make-up er helemaal bij past. Graag tot dan!

Sunday 24 march of this year it is! The red carpet show that's been held twice a year in Horst, the village I live. The red carpet show means that there's a red carpet all the way through the shopping district in the centre of the village. Also there are models walking over the carpet like a catwalk, showing the new spring/summer fashion. There are fashion-/ shoestores open this day and also other stores like the traveling agency. 

And it happens to be that we're involved in this show too! I will be working together with Hanneke Janssen from fashionstore VROUW in Horst. We will do the hair and the make-up of her models costumized to the clothing they will be wearing that day. And I'm so excited! I have made a moodboard with lots of inspiration for that day. Now it only has to be perfect for the models and the garments they will be wearing. Hopefully it will be a beautiful warm and sunny day, just like it was last year with the red carpet show. So the models with their clothing and make-up fit perfectly with the weather! I'll see you then!
